Introduction:

The Texture Channel Packer packs together Metal, Roughness, AO, Height (displacement) maps, or any other grayscale maps that you may want into one convenient map for use in PBR applications. You can have from 2 to 4 maps into one texture quickly.

This saves texture processing heavily,because since each of these maps are grayscale maps, they occupy only one channel, and are repeated in the others. The packer instead takes the input and apply in each channel. Saving space and processing. Great for Unreal Engine 4!


In this pack you'll find:

-The.SBSAR files. One for packing with alpha and another for packing only RGB channels;

-A ready white and black images for suplying the empty channels;

-A Unreal Engine 4 material ready for use the packed maps - drop the Shader folder inside the Content folder of the project.
